You begin your adventure as a detective who arrives to Joyville to help its dwellers to find a missing boy. So it is up to you to investigate and solve the series of spooky and odd events that has befallen this once joyous village.

PuppetShow: Mystery of Joyville is a true interactive adventure game where you add items to an inventory chest, which become tools to use later through the game. Some useful objects can also be found outside of hidden object scenes, so don’t be shy about clicking on anything that catches your eye. Hints are unlimited, though you will rarely need to use them and the mini puzzles are challenging but not too difficult. Overall, it is a totally enjoyable game with fabulous graphics, good audio and a solid story. The hidden object areas, like everything else in the game, are stunning, beautifully detailed and utterly appropriate to their surroundings. Thanks to animation effects Joyville looks like a living, breathing environment and hold you completely rapt.

Still there must be a fly in the ointment. The minor problem is the game’s length as it is too short. Such a good game should be much longer and let gamers to enjoy plenty of it. Thus, the game is worth of admiring notice. Don’t lose the opportunity to check it in practice!
